Summary of Requirements

Background

The Information and Communications Technology Services (ICTS) of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) provides various ICT services on different infrastructure and systems products in the Secretariat (Vienna, Austria) and among Missions and Institutions; detailed information about the work of the OSCE and its presence is available at www.osce.org

Service Requirements

In 2012, the OSCE migrated to the Microsoft product family. The installed user base is approximately 3,000 and +100 servers among all the OSCE Field Operations and Institutions.

The OSCE is seeking to establish a 5-year support services contract with a qualified vendor covering the architecture and design, implementation, maintenance and support, training and upgrade of the following products:

- NetIQ/MicroFocus;
- SuSe ;
- Microsoft;
- VMWare;
- RSA;
- ACE;
- McAfee;
- Kaspersky.

In addition to the services above, the OSCE require assistance in the following areas:

- Operational backup for the OSCE platform team;
- Backup for OSCE platform team in case of disaster recovery;
- PowerShell script development;
- Linux troubleshooting;
- Network troubleshooting (HP, Cisco, Checkpoint,...).

Following backend enterprise products are in use with above listed services/products, the vendor shall have experience with this architecture and those products mix:

- HP Data Protector;
- HP 3PAR;
- HP Proliant Servers.

Qualification Requirements

Among other qualification requirements, the following mandatory requirements are planned in the forthcoming tender:

1. Microsoft Gold Partner;
2. NetIQ/Micro Focus Gold Partner;
3. VMWare Enterprise Solution Provider;
4. SuSe Platinum Partner.
