Summary of Requirements

The Human Rights and Democratization Programme of the OSCE Mission to Moldova requires the services of a competent and responsible Partner for the implementation of the project “Increasing the Civic Participation of Youth and Civil Society belonging to National Minorities (2016)” (hereinafter referred as the Project). The Project aims to expand participation of youth belonging to national minorities in public and political life and to establish a mechanism for civil society to research and raise national minority issues with the central authorities. The Implementing Partner will be tasked with the following: • Organizing three roundtables, in different regions of Moldova, to raise awareness about public debating; • Organizing an initial debate training for about 40 Moldovan high school students from schools teaching in the Russian language; • Organizing two debate tournaments and two public debates in local schools; • Organizing a one-month internship programme for three motivated students belonging to national minorities; • Organizing capacity building training for young people belonging to national minorities who are representatives of NGOs working on human rights and democratization issues; • Organizing a Donors Forum for the benefit of civil society that represents national minorities; • Elaborating three policy papers on relevant topics for national minorities; • Conducting research and analysis with and about civil society.
