The International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women (25th November) and the ensuing 16 Days of Activism against Gender Based Violence (GBV) are commemorated every year around the world to raise awareness and trigger action aimed at ending violence against women. In addition, on 16 November the world celebrates International Day for Tolerance, while the 10th of December is the International Day for Human Rights. Marking International Days contributes to public awareness raising and mobilizing attention of decision makers on pressing human rights issues.
In 2020, the OSCE Mission in Kosovo will focus on addressing mainly harassment (being one of the forms of discrimination), including sexual harassment, and specific forms of GBV such as sexual violence, early marriages and violence against women in politics.
The OSCE Mission in Kosovo is looking for eligible and qualified companies for production and broadcast of five animated TV spots on equality, including gender equality and prohibition of gender-based violence for 16 Days of Activism Campaign and International Human Rights Day. Interested companies are invited to request bidding documents.
