The OSCE Secretariat is implementing the Project "In support of strengthening capacities of Ukrainian authorities in preventing and combating illicit trafficking in weapons, ammunition and explosives in all its aspect". It includes conducting specialized training session on high-threat EOD course for experts of National Police of Ukraine.
Training shall be conducted by specialized company offline on its own site in line with international standards and best practices.
Minimum topics to be covered by training Program:
- Introduction to booby trap threats in liberated areas of Ukraine;
- Understanding of likely Russian army booby-trap TTPs;
- Conduct of a task, best practices;
- Target isolations, EOD reconnaissance and identification of ordnance items;
- Explosive and non-explosive methods of device defeat;
- Hook and line techniques;
- Operator search;
- Post task exploitation, forensic procedures and report writing.
