In 2015, the Information Technology and Communication Services (ICTS) of the OSCE Secretariat together with the Procurement and Contracting Unit (PCU) has established a Contract for the provision of Disaster Recovery Services; this Contract is going to expire at the end of January 2020, and the project team was formed to prepare its renewal.
As a starting point, the decision was made to develop the Request for Information (RFI) aimed at the IT Vendors capable of offering similar services. One of the mandatory requirements is the Disaster Recover site must be located not close than 2 km to the existing OSCE Data Center (Wallnerstarsse 6, 1010, Vienna, Austria) and not further than 50 km away from the Data Center.
