In the framework of the ExB Project “Enhancing Ukraine’s Chemical Emergency Response Capacity”, it is planned to сonduct a 1-day conference “Towards a Safer Ukraine: Strengthening National Capacity for Chemical Hazards Response” on 29 January, 2026 in Kyiv, Ukraine to mark the achievements of the first phase of the project implementation and present to the local and internation community the OSCE’s plans for the further project interventions in the chemical safety and security domain.
The event will host national partners from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, including the representatives from other national authorities involved into the CBRN aspects of the civil protection in Ukraine, representatives of the international organizations’ community and Embassies of the SPU donor-states to Ukraine, as well as the OSCE SPU project team.
The Conference will be conducted in Hybrid format and will be the combination of presentations and discussions. All technical facilities shall be in place to ensure the Hybrid format (offline/online) during the whole day of the event in terms of sound and picture.
Based on the above, the OSCE SPU requires Conference Facilities, Accommodation, Conference Equipment, Catering, Event Support Services and other specific services including logistical and technical support during the event (including enabling of online participation), simultaneous translation equipment for the abovementioned Conference.
