The OSCE SPU Project “Strengthening the Role of Media by Ensuring the Safety of Journalists, Promoting Critical Media Consumption, Encouraging Ethical and Self-Regulated Journalism, and Institutionalizing Gender-Sensitive Media Practices” envisages to conduct the International Media Literacy Conference to bring together key stakeholders for knowledge exchange, policy dialogue, and collaboration on advancing media literacy.
The two-days International Media Literacy Conference, to be organized by the OSCE Support Programme for Ukraine on 2-3 July 2026, aims to convene stakeholders such as media professionals, teachers, scholars, policymakers, civil society activists, and international experts to discuss best practices in media literacy. The participation of high-level national and international officials is expected at two-days International Media Literacy Conference.
