POiB projects aim to increase interaction between state agencies, local self-government bodies and citizens on public and municipal service delivery.
In 2017, the Programme Office will contract qualified IPs to identify optimal public service delivery modalities and train municipal employees, members of the local councils, local civil society organizations to improve public service delivery. The IPs, jointly with the POiB, shall identify optimal approaches to enhance the provision of public services throughout 7 oblasts of the country as well as in 2 cities (Bishkek and Osh). This work will also include engagement with citizens to conduct needs assessments and/or for awareness raising purposes. Outreach activities may include the media, public events, focus groups, surveys.
