The OSCE Mission to Serbia is implementing the project ‘Support to Media Reforms in Serbia’, funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID). One of the project activities is aimed at developing public advertising model that will be further debated with the authorities. In that regard, the OSCE Mission to Serbia invites interested civil society organizations to submit project proposals, which aim at supporting state authorities in improving legal environment for advertisement, sponsorships and other non-project based media financing of public sector in Serbia.
The Mission seeks proposals from civil society organizations (CSO) to analyse current strategic and legal framework, existing draft legal and strategic acts of the Republic of Serbia, analyse best international practices and key international documents relevant for the issue and draft proposal of comprehensive legal act, that would regulate key issues of advertisement, sponsorships and other non-project based media financing of public sector in Serbia, that would fit with the rest of legal system in Serbia (or propose necessary changes in other laws and regulation) and with the general framework of the upcoming Media Strategy.
The proposed project duration should not exceed six months.
