The OSCE Mission to Serbia is implementing the project ‘Support to Media Reforms in Serbia’, funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID). One of the project activities is aimed at improving transparency and accessibility of the project-based co-financing of the public interest media content. In that regard, the OSCE Mission to Serbia invites interested civil society organizations to submit project proposals, which aim at supporting state authorities in establishing more transparent and better controlled system of public spending on production of media content.
The Mission seeks proposals from civil society organizations (CSO) registered in Serbia to conduct an analysis of the regulatory framework, technical capabilities (including digital storage capacities etc.), practices in conducting procedures of co-financing the production of the media content on a local, province and state level (especially control of the budget spending on these contents) and the analysis of the possibilities for citizens to access produced media content, with the recommendations for improvements in legislation and its implementation.
The proposed project duration should not exceed six months.
