The project aims at providing support to ensure human rights, while exercising various fundamental freedoms. The project consists of three directions on promoting fundamental freedoms specifically on human rights in armed forces, freedom of peaceful assemblies and freedom of religion or belief on the basis of a number of OSCE Human Dimension Commitments.
The project aims at bringing national policy, legislation and practise closer to international standards and OSCE Human Dimension Commitments, including ODIHR’s Guidelines on Freedom of Peaceful Assemblies, ODIHR Guidelines on the Legal Personality of Religious or Belief Communities and OSCE/ODIHR manuals related to human rights in armed forces.
