As part of the project “Supporting the government and civil society organizations to effectively address the problems of vulnerable group”, the OSCE Program Office in Nur-Sultan will provide support to 7 crisis centers (North Kazakhstan, Karaganda, Akmola (2 centers), South Kazakhstan and Almaty (2 centers) of the region of the Republic of Kazakhstan), providing temporary residence and providing human rights, medical and psychological support to persons who fall under the definition of “victims of domestic violence”, “victims of human trafficking”, including minors, victims of ill-treatment of them.
To ensure the safety of employees working in the office and people living in the shelter, additional measures are required, including a set of equipment for a video surveillance system, street lighting, ACS (access control and management system), additional doors and other related services.
