Summary of Requirements

Background

The Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) is interested to establish a Contract for the provision of professional consultancy services on Microsoft software related technologies, including SharePoint, .Net framework and C#.

The expected duration of the Contract is three years with an option to extend for two one year periods subject to the need of services, funds availability and contractor’s performance.

Technical landscape of the OSCE

The OSCE’s current Information Technology landscape mainly consists of the following:

•Microsoft environment (MS Office 2010) comprising servers and exchange servers (MS Exchange 2010);
•Collaboration platform and document management (MS SharePoint 2013);
•Electronic Document and Records Management System (Livelink/Open Text Content Server);
•.Net development framework;
•Development stack including (but not limited to) of MS .NET, C#, Dev Express and Javascript;
•Oracle EBS and databases;
•Physical servers and VMware virtualization.

Areas of Interest

1.SharePoint solution: provide expertise in the following administrative areas of SharePoint solution development:
1.Farm and Sandbox solutions;
2.Server-Side development (Server-Side API, CAML, SPQuery & SPSiteDataQuery, LINQ for SharePoint…);
3.Client-Side development (JavaScript, CSOM, JSOM, REST API, WCF Data Services, OData…);
4.Event Receivers (including Remote Event Receivers);
5.Business Connectivity Services (BSC Apps, .NET Assembly Connectors);
6.SharePoint Security (Securing Apps, App Identity, OAuth, S2S…);
7.Working with Large Data Sets;
8.SharePoint with third party integration;
9.Provide expertise in SharePoint Workflow-based solutions.
2.Integration of MS Office and SharePoint;
3.Provide expertise and solutions in integrating MS Office 2010 with SharePoint in particular in the field of SharePoint Workflows;
4.Experience in design and implementation solutions for integration of specialist work packages that will improve search capability (including custom connectors crawling security-trimmed external sources in particular OpenText Content Server)

Vendor requirements

•Pool of trained, knowledgeable functional and technical English speaking consultants;
•State any Microsoft Partnership;
•Minimum of 5 years of experience with Microsoft SharePoint in an enterprise (decentralized) environment;
•Up to date knowledge of SharePoint (SP) technologies (2010 & 2013);
•Experience in cloud installation of SharePoint;
•Experience with MS Office 365.
