Summary of Requirements

Requirements:

Under the overall guidance of the PCUz and in close collaboration with IT Park Uzbekistan, the contractor is expected to:

  • Conduct at least four webinars in Uzbek and Russian languages for at least 250 people (approximately at 50/50 ratio) by:
    • Covering the promising areas on open data for IT start-ups and business sector
    • Developing and delivering the agenda of the webinars
    • Attracting experienced trainers/experts on open data
    • Performing technical works on organizing and conducting the webinars
  • Conduct one practical in-person training on the use of open data that will be delivered in Uzbek and Russian languages for at least 100 people (approximately at 50/50 ratio) by:
    • Processing applications for participation in the training
    • Elaborating educational materials and work plan for training
    • Covering at least six hours of relevant topics, including the topics on formats of open data (csv, xml, json, API)
    • Attracting experienced trainers/experts on open data
    • Providing technical equipment, written materials, printing and stationery items
  • Provide technical support in conducting the hackathon by:
    • Developing rules and technical guidelines of hackathon
    • Attracting experienced mentors for hackathon
    • Developing graphic design for promotion activities in the media and social networks
    • Supporting participants in pitch at the Demo-Day
    • Collecting and compiling the data, presentations and other works used/developed by participants
    • Support in assessment of the participants’ performance
  • Develop a web-site in two languages (Uzbek, Russian) for processing applications for participation in training and hackathon
  • Perform co-ordination and communication activities with webinar participants, trainees and trainers/experts, and mentors
