Summary of Requirements

The OSCE Project Co-ordinator in Uzbekistan is seeking offers from eligible and qualified companies for provision of training services for promoting the sustainable development of the national human rights system in Uzbekistan. The scope of services is as follows:

  • Prepare the learning materials and conduct a specialized  training day in the Zoom format for prosecutors and defence lawyers (advocates) on deepening their knowledge on the standards of Istanbul Protocol and their legal application;
  • Prepare the learning materials and conduct a specialized training in the Zoom format for medical experts from the penitentiary system and forensic experts on the essence of the Istanbul Protocol and its practical application including effective documentation, physical and psychological check of the individuals that brings evidence of torture and ill-treatment;
  • The training should be conducted in English or Russian languages.
  • Participatory, adult learning methodology will be used comprising presentations, brainstorming, case studies, group discussion and plenary discussions. The consultant of the successful company will work in the framework of the office’s project and will work closely with an international Senior Project Officer and National Project Officer to ensure that training and other outputs are developed in an approach that is appropriate for the context of Uzbekistan.
  • Submitting a one-page report (training results, challenges, recommendations).
