The Mission seeks proposals from Civil society organizations (CSOs) to implement a project aimed at enhancing the safety and legal protection of journalists. The project seeks to reduce cases of threats, intimidation, hate speech, and violence against journalists, particularly female journalists, at both local and national levels through establishment of the 24/7 legal aid telephone hotline to support journalists facing threats. Additionally, it aims to improve journalists knowledge of the legal framework protecting media workers.
Mandatory requirement for applicants is legal residence in the Republic of Serbia.
