The country-wide local elections are scheduled to take place in Kyrgyzstan in 2016. Taken into consideration underrepresentation of women, youth and ethnic minorities among political candidates in election in Kyrgyzstan at all levels, the CiB sees as crucial an effort to increase the pool of politically trained, prepared and eligible women to candidate in 2016 local elections across the country.
Therefore, the CiB will support a series of targeted training programs on leadership, public outreach, election campaign and other issues, in Bishkek and some regions of the country.
